Garden Consults

I offer a limited number of monthly 1:1 flower garden consults for home gardeners and new small growers looking for guidance on cut flower gardens, small-scale growing, and seasonal planning.

These sessions are held on Zoom and are designed to give you focused, practical advice tailored to your space, goals, and experience level.

Please note: growing and planning questions are best suited for gardeners in Zones 5–7.

Details:

  • 45-minute Zoom session

  • $65 per session

  • Pre-submitted questionnaire required before your session

Topics may include:

  • Turning lawn into a cutting garden

  • Planning and growing cut flower gardens

  • Small-scale growing and seasonal planning

  • Growing dahlias (last season we grew over 1,000!! So we’ve got a lot of experience with them, and they’re even our dog’s namesake)

  • Tips for starting a flower stand or selling at farmers markets

  • Growing with nature, focusing on natural methods

    Not Included

    • Shrub or flowering tree planning

    • Invasive plant management

    • Herbicide or pesticide recommendations

Once we schedule your consult, you’ll receive an invoice for payment along with a short questionnaire so I can come prepared for our meeting. After that, I’ll send over the Zoom link and we’ll dive into your questions and garden goals together.
